Logo Competition

Salam School is in the process of redesigning its logo. The Salam School Advisory Committee (SSAC) and administration have decided to hold a community-wide competition that includes the school’s different constituents, in which the winning design will be adopted as the new and official Salam School logo.

The design selection will occur in two phases:

1) A judging panel will select the top designs

2) The top designs will be put up for general voting (surveying all students, parents, and the rest of the school constituents).

The following are general guidelines for the competition:

• Logo designs must be reflective of Salam School as an Islamic institution. The adopted logo will be placed on the school’s uniform and stationary e.g., letterhead, forms, etc.

• Designs are to be creative in incorporating fresh Islamic symbols. (Designers are strongly discouraged from using overused, timeworn symbols).

• Submitted designs may be software-generated or hand-sketched.

• Design deadline submission is Friday, September 18, 2020.

• Anyone may participate! You do not have to be a current/past Salam School student.

• The winner (who creates the winning design) will be awarded a cash prize of $1,000.
